We are LILAC, Love Inspired Living Addiction Center. We give women in recovery the hope to heal.

We are licensed by the Florida Department of Children and Family Services as a Day-Night treatment facility with community housing and an Intensive Outpatient Program. LILAC is dedicated to the specific mental, physical and spiritual needs of women 18 years and older. We offer treatment for alcohol addiction, substance abuse and dual diagnosis from a woman’s point of view including sexual violence and sexual abuse and other secondary problems.

It is only recently that research has confirmed that women’s brains are “wired” differently than men, so they respond to a more nurturing approach in therapy. Psychological and social factors also play a part. Women suffering from addiction are likely to have a more complex mental health picture than men. Low self-esteem, poor body image and relationship issues are also often contributing factors.

At LILAC, we emphasize the importance of a social support network where women build bonds with each other, accelerating the healing process. Our clients experience a sense of community where interdependency fosters much-needed trust.
